Gellyball Questions, Answered
What is gellyball, or jelly ball?
Gellyball, also written gelly ball or jelly ball, is a low-impact alternative to paintball. Players use gel blasters that fire gellyball ammo instead of paint, take cover behind bunkers and wear a mask for every round, while a Game Master runs the game. Some people call it gel ball or gel tag.
Does getting hit with gellyball hurt?
Not much. It is low impact: you can feel a hit, about like a rubber band snap, and that is about it. Every player wears a mask, everyone hears the safety briefing first, and anyone can sit out a round and jump back in. Kids, teens and adults all play.
Will the ammo stain clothes, the lawn or the fence?
No. The ammo is non-toxic, non-staining and biodegradable. It is gel, not paint, so party clothes, fences and patios come through clean and there is nothing to hose off when the game ends.
How much yard space does the game take up?
About 30x40 ft of open ground is what we recommend, 30x50 ft is even better, and 25x30 ft is workable. A backyard, a school field, a church lawn or a park can all hold the bunkers. Tell us what you have when you check your date.
What comes with a gellyball party package?
Ten gel blasters and ten masks, a set of bunkers that builds the field, unlimited gellyball ammo and a Game Master for the whole booking, plus setup and pack-out. Gear for 10 players is included, and each extra player is $25 with an extra kit.

Yes, with glow gellyball. We set blacklights around the field and load glow-in-the-dark ammo, so the whole game lights up. Glow runs at every package length from one to three hours, from $395 for one hour.
